75th Anniversary of The Screwtape Letters #29

The only letter we have of Lewis commenting on James Forsyth’s Screwtape is to his publisher, Jocelyn Gibb (February 9, 1962). In it he notes that it is “an ordinary play” that merely has “devils who aren’t much more than commentators.”
