The Screwtape Letter is one of many great books by C.S. Lewis. As the publication of my book about it draws near I’m sharing a fact about it each day.

In the 24th letter to Wormwood, the phrase
“inner ring” is used. In 1944 Lewis gave a
talk on that topic and the essay version is
available in the book The Weight of Glory.
