The Surprising Imagination of C.S. Lewis (Mark Neal)

Previously William O’Flaherty spoke with Dr. Jerry Root about The Surprising Imagination of C.S. Lewis before the book was available to own. What follows is a conversation with the other co-author of the work, Mark Neal. This podcast covers more specifically what is in the combined effort from Root and Neal. Detailed examples are given from …

(CCSLQ-8) Are A Soul

UPDATED (7/21/18) – The Misquotable C.S. Lewis is my book that examines 75 quotations attributed to Lewis that I caution you not to share. Some are falsely attributed to him, others are paraphrases of his words, and a few have context issues. Don’t share a quote attributed to Lewis unless you can confirm he wrote it and the meaning …

The C.S. Lewis Foundation has hosted a retreat at Camp Allen in Texas nearly every year for the last dozen years. For 2015 they will have it October 30th – November 1st. Discussing Mere Christianity (Dr. Devin Brown)

Saying Mere Christianity is a book that has influence millions of people would not only be obvious, but also an understatement! Yet, despite it’s nearly universal appeal, there are those who have difficulty “getting into it.” This might be because the material is over 70 years old (they were first radio talks in the 1940’s) and they …

C.S. Lewis Institute YouTube Channel

There are nearly an endless variety of free videos on just about any subject online. It’s just a matter of knowing where to look for them. One of the reasons I enjoy sharing about other places online to find material on C.S. Lewis is that you might not know where they are. Which is why I’m highlighting these videos from the C.S. Lewis Institute.

The C.S. Lewis Institute has more than the four video series I’m spotlighting, so be sure to check their other offerings. The ones I’m focusing on are about three that deal with Lewis’s books and one on a book about Lewis.

C.S. Lewis Blog from HarperCollins

A couple of months ago I featured HarperCollins’s site they manage online at CSLewis.com. One of the areas I mentioned was BLOG section that contains a large variety of articles by either Lewis scholars or enthusiasts. This area use to be a standalone site until late last year and has been posting essays for nearly seven years. While it is easy to navigate the site (you can browse by year, author or topic) I wanted to highlight a few older articles that you might not come across too quickly by those methods:
