Many of you know I’m on a crusade to rid the world of false C.S. Lewis quotations. That’s why I started a series online back in 2015 (and my first post on the topic on January 26, 2014), along with a few podcasts on the topic. I’ve also created a Facebook group to help educate people about the problem.
Finally, in March of last year, I had a book published entitled The Misquotable C.S. Lewis, where I presented 75 questionable quotations (in addition to fake quotes, there are paraphrases of Lewis and expressions that I believe aren’t clear enough when isolated).
Now I’ve decided to take it a step further by creating an annual QUOTATHON. Every first full week of January (starting on a Sunday) I’ll be sharing one verified Lewis quotation an hour on my EssentialCSLewis FB Group and my companion Twitter page (originally it was my Confirming C.S. Lewis Quotations FB group). You can join in my posting some of your favorites on that page whenever you want during the week. Also, please consider sharing the posts with others to help combat the problem by giving others so many great authentic Lewis quotations to consider.
