The Screwtape Letters is one of many great books by C.S. Lewis. As the publication of my book about it draws near I’m sharing a fact about it each day.

to Lewis during a church service. He
told his brother about it in a letter from
July 1940: “It…would consist of letters
from an elderly retired devil to a young
devil who has just started work on his
first ‘patient’.”
