Whether you are new to C.S. Lewis or an experienced reader of his works have I got a resource for you!
Back when I was just learning how great a writer Lewis was I discovered a new book containing short excepts from a wide variety of his works. The year was 1984 and the title, The Business of Heaven. Arranged in the form of daily readings, this collection edited by Walter Hooper was what finalized my love for the writings of C.S. Lewis.
The Business of Heaven doesn’t try to give you a taste of every book by him, but it does expose you to nearly 30 of his published works. It can serve as an excellent sampler for those not familiar with C.S. Lewis or a great reminder of just how good he was.
